You know that the answer is in the sentence. But when you hear it for the first time, you don't realise it. Then you don't forget it, no matter how many years go by. 🤓

The same should be true of the advice we bring you today.

On many occasions, talking to other mothers at the centre, they tell us that their children do not take sugar. Only on special occasions and then they take the precaution of brushing their teeth. 🍭🎂🍦🍫

That gives us immense joy. Knowing that the little ones are doing so well and protecting their dental health is the best news. And we celebrate it. ✔️

But when we ask them if they drink juice... the answer is invariably yes. That they drink them because after all, fruit is healthy, isn't it 😕?

Yes, fruit is very healthy and necessary. 🍏

Yes, prepared juices contain more sugar than a piece of fruit. 🧃

No, even if a piece or pieces of fruit appear on the packaging, the amount of sugar contained in the concentrates is not at all advisable. ☹️

Let's hope it's like the riddle: once you know the answer to whether juices have too much sugar, you'll know it forever. 🤓

At Ziving, we teach our little patients this and many other tips through play, so that they get really involved in their mouth care. 🦷

Tell us, did you know this about bottled juices?
