Normally, the baby teeth fall out first and the permanent teeth come out in the gap they leave behind. But there are occasions when this is not the case. The permanent tooth appears just behind without the baby tooth having fallen out. 😮
Is it worrying? In principle, no.
If the baby tooth starts to move, it will fall out on its own in a few days and the tongue itself will push the permanent tooth into the socket. 😃
If time passes and the baby tooth does not fall out, the best thing to do is to evaluate with an X-ray and extract the baby tooth to make a hole. 🦷
What's for sure is that the sooner it's fixed, the less likely you are to need braces - why not sit tight and let us take a look at it at Ziving 😊.
Did you know the term "shark teeth"?
