At Dr. Consuelo Badía's orthodontic clinic we work with three types of Invisalign: Invisalign First, Invisalign Teen and Invisalign Full. Each of them serves the same purpose, but each one is designed to adapt to the age of each different type of patient.
Crowns, the type of tooth growth, expansion and eruption change with age. When you are a child you do not have the same evolution in your dental growth as when you are a teenager or an adult.. The needs are different. Orthodontic appliances have to be able to adapt to these changes and be able to predict the behaviour of the teeth.
Invisalign is the transparent orthodontic system consisting of a set of different fixed interchangeable ferrules. During the time they are in place, they have to know how to adapt to all these natural modifications to the growth and evolution of the jaw. For this reason, Invisalign has developed three different ranges that adapt to the age and vicissitudes of each patient:
- Invisalign Firsttransparent orthodontics is designed for patients of a young age. From the age of six it can be used to correct the malocclusions typical of this age group.
- Invisalign Teen MethodInvisalign: this is the Invisalign range we will use for your teenage daughter or son.
- Invisalign FullInvisalign: is used for adults and is called 'full' because it corresponds to the complete Invisalign treatment.
Invisalign First is the heavyweight invisible braces for your young children
In our orthodontic clinic in Valencia we specialise in the most complicated casesfor children. For them we use Invisalign First or Teen depending on their age. But these orthodontic systems are only effective if they are used by orthodontists with years of experience.
