If you have little boys or girls at home, and you're already thinking that it's time to think about orthodontics, you're probably asking yourself: what type of orthodontics is best? A priori, the best orthodontics of all is interceptive orthodontics. This is nothing more than one that can be applied at a very early age, correcting the irregular growth of teeth. But if we don't get there in time, we will have to decide between braces and Invisalign. Two types of orthodontics with their pros and cons depending on your children's lifestyle.
Which type of orthodontics is best for your child?
Braces or Invisalign? That's the big question. We've already told you that your child will prefer Invisalign and, honestly, if you don't want to get on your dwarf's nerves, we recommend it. With Invisalign he will be able to continue eating as normal, he won't have tantrums because he can see his irons and you won't have a fight every time he finishes eating because of the cleanliness of his teeth.
Invisalign also reduces the number of visits to the dentist for check-ups. You will only have to return to the clinic to check that everything is still OK, but not to adjust the orthodontics, as you have to do with brackets. The covers are changed at home, little by little, and at the times set by the clinic.
Does that mean that braces are not worth it?
We didn't mean that. Braces are great. If your child doesn't like having to change their braces and prefers to have something fixed, they are an excellent option. Both Invisalign and braces have reached a level of technical excellence that offers both excellent results, as long as they are used by good hands, like our experts.
